Your privacy

What you log in Rootly is personal health information. We treat it that way. This is a plain-language summary of what we collect and the control you have over it.
What we store
- Your account: email address, display name, timezone, and preferences you set.
- What you log: symptom check-ins, sleep, meals, hydration, trigger foods, fasting, movement, and breathwork.
- What Rootly calculates from your logs: scores, trends, and patterns.
- If you turn on reminders: a push-notification address for your device.
How it's protected
- Encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest in our database provider (Supabase).
- Row-level security: your account can only ever read your own data.
- Your health logs are not stored on your device by the app, so they aren't left behind offline.
What we never do
- We never sell or share your personal health data for advertising.
- We don't use your data to train AI models. Rootly's insights are simple rules applied to your own data.
Your controls
- Export: download everything you've logged, any time, from Settings → Your data.
- Delete: permanently delete your account and all of your data from Settings → Your data.
- Reminders: turn notifications on or off in Settings.
